Here is my starlet i had off my sis about one year ago it looked nice but it had its down side

here is some pics of it just after i had it off her.

Some of the things that went wrong when i had it are. left side CV joint needed changing along with the berings. Had to get new Ignition leads the old ones were held on with tap an came out all the time.

distribter was super glued on witch melted an got in side an stopped it working it needed changing.

one of the piston had snaped so i got a new engine.

Got it all sorted running well then a little somthing happend:

Lucky for me it still worked so no more big pay outs but i took it off road to do some work to it and change its look a bit.

Some time latter after getting a job i could start spending on it.

staryed with removed the key hole on the boot

then i sorted out the dent on the left and took off the 16V badge

Played about with the front bumper but looking 2 get a new one. The plate i got is

2 small didn't cheak the size when i ordered it also added the UKsatrlet sticker.

an also started spraying the interior plastics matt black

Im looking to lower her back down new set of wheels an i was looking

at the cruise frp bonet from toy tuning but its for glanza but it should

fit shouldnt it also after a new front and rear bumper same as i have

now if anyone has one ill be intrested in them and looking to get the

headlight off the glanza there is more but there the main mods

for now.

If you get that bonnet you need the lights and bumper

can the standed bumper be changed 2 fit

it can buy u will have to cut a lot of the vertical bits on the bumper and then it will look quite odd

either by clear headlights for it or go the whole hog mate

Or you could do what I was going to do

Just modify the Glanza bonnet to fit the headlights (using the same technique as they do when "bad boyin'" bonnets by welding plates shaped to fit the lights

Wouldnt be able to do it to a Cruise bonnet those as its fiberglass

Thaks 4 looking at the start of my project. It has been some time sice i have done anything 2 my little beast as i just got my self a 1989 vw golf so that set me back some £ but here is what i have done.

first got some spray pait done the center peace

Then got going on 2 the other parts with a nice matt black finish

also cut out the speaker case so the speaker could be seen.

not looking 2 bad if i say so my self. Just orderd glanza head light.

One day the other week my dad come back with these £100 2 seats and the harneses just a little part

She has been in 4 a MOT an failed

the list i had was :

n/s rack rod

o/s rear baring

emisions

car over reving

the uk starlet club sticker was down on it 2 that shouldnt be a prob should it.

If anyone can help with the probs up above please let me no

this is the golf i got instead of spendin the money on this little project always wanted 1 so had 2 get it when i seen it

Yea its a good laugh the 1st wales UKSC meet was quite successful so just looking to get some more people together and meet some new faces

It will be a sunday more than linkely with other peoples commitments like work etc, will get a thread up well in advance so everyone can sort out a date between us

here are some of the new mods made to my car

>new bonnet >front bumper >head lights >sprayed the inside of the indicator black

>added a spliter on the bumper

4 fitted the bucket seats

6 changed the door panels need a respray

I pulled out 2 pipes but not sure which way they go back so could someone have a look an let me no please i got a pic.

Its placed under the distributor dont no what it is

I also have another problem with the way the engine is running. the revs start at just over 800 but then go up too 2000

an stay at that. I have been cheaking the air lines thats why i pulled the two pipes out in the pic.

nice one mate! i was stuck for what bumper to go for when i did mine lol, but got such a good deal on a glanza spoiler and 96 spec bumper already sprayed 040 white! you doin the full conversion?
