On Thursday some guy offered me a decent amount of cash for my car and without even looking under the hood and so on...

Soon as i told him the issues and he offered to pick it up on a truck i found it hard to refuse.

He was meant to pick it up this morning but didn't show up. Argghh

But when i was clearing it out i sat inside it and i want to drive it again so much. Only thing is, that it probably/has more issues now its been sitting about for a year.

It was a close call.

Like i say it could do with a respray, but its not painfully obvious just a couple of areas and dinks.

Needs a new C.V joint (i think)

Synchros or something need changing it crunches into third when you do it fast.

Waste gate needs boring because it has one of those tong turbo hybrids.

And probably need some kind of electric boost controller.

and some other little bits like passenger sun visor and drivers wind deflector.

2 new front tyres, + Tax and MOT

But where its been sitting there, the battery's dead and chances are it will have some little things that need doing.

Think that's about it.. i got offered around £2500.

(would rather not say the exact price for various reasons, but its close to that)

i would only consider a real cheap model that, say, needed a new engine or something, by cheap i mean like the many round here at 800quid that have blown engines, 2.5k for something that needs work is a tad optimistic, got 2 motors already ;)

Yeh that's probably true, but most have been ragged to shits and owned by fannys these days. At least he was buying an honest car. And considering the mods and wheels he was getting he could have easily have sold separately a lot of it.

There is loads of starlets round here these days and mostly chavs now. I wouldn't even buy one of 90% of the people these days.

I know now i don't really trust many cars, and whatever i get next will have to have a specific type of owner.

Gaz why dont you keep it? Forget the paintwork because thats not a problem, especially living in medway.

Hence why ive left mine looking haggard for so long, at least i dont worry about leaving it in car parks now

If you want to get it up and running, pm me with details on what exactlys up with it and ill price it up to sort it and get the ep back on the road.

Id have thought it would have been alive again by now.

took a few days but i decided to stay starbo. my paint work is lookin shizer at the mo especially as someone scraped the back but luckily i caught the dicke head drunk in the act. cant prove he is drunk now as i didnt phone the police i just said give me you details punk.

few days later he was parked in my drive.

i just moved in he dont think n e one lives there and its the only house on the street with a drive.

caught him the second time and phoned the police.

this guy is really starting to piss me off but back to the point

im just puting down money on a gt spec from enzo and gonna source some more parts

and its like being a kid again i cant fookin wait for the final = smokin my mate in his skyline gts
