Starletraje
i'd imagine the "credit crunch" is affecting things like this as well as house sales.people that have a car don't wanna sell cause they are financially insecure, people looking for a first car, most people don't wanna spend 3.5ki wish you luck in the sale though, and i'd buy it if i coulda afforded it
paul w
been trying for couple of weeks now and not even a viewer!!!A couple of weeks! Is that all???? I've had cars take 2-3 months to sell before, it's a specialist market so you gotta be patient!No-one is spending cash at the mo so if you want rid quick go speak to a dealer, if not then just hang on as someone will come along when the time is right. Bildo
Don't take this the wrong way, but those stickers on the side will be doing you no justice. Think if people have 50-odd Glanzas to take a choice from, any slight niggle could put them off.Get those ones off and some real Glanza ones made up, it'll definitely give you a bit more of a chance at a very small cost. Galliano
Raje is on the ball on this one, the market isnt great at the moment.just a matter of time i guess

WallaceGlanza
what stickers on the car, only got glanza ones on there????Cheers for all the replys though guys. Its because their not the original glanza stickers you've got, they don't look quite right.Just keep trying with the sale! If you need a little money in the mean time I'll gladly take the trd dial surround off you.
Randy McShag Swindon
Thought they were original. Learn something new everyday.Need more money at the mo than the surround would make.
Galliano
the surround would fetch quite a bit + swap for buyers standard one mate!its real carbon so i am told
Randy McShag Swindon
Dont think it would fetch 4 figures!!I have been told it aint real carbon, just painted like it. I thought it would be carbon seeing as its by trd, but they obviously cut corners too.
Galliano
im sure i read somewhere that it was carbon, but its still TRD.. i saw one go for quite high double figs.. not 4 though... i mean.. what can fetch 4 figures these days? other than houses and cars..
nimlc
Just to give you an idea of what the market is like, I just paid £2500 and my 1.6SR VTEC 1997 Honda Civic Coupe on top (132k miles) for a 1996 Starlet Glanza V at 45k miles. Didnt have any history, but looked good enough and drives like a dream. One UK owner. Not too many mods though. K&N in filter, ToyTuning aculator, tinted windows, blitz turbo timer, and F+F boost gauge. Everything else is stock
ecksjay
the trd surround is carbon overlay, not real carbon. would fetch around £100-120, well, it 'would' have, not sure how much people are buying now due to the credit situation.i can certainly say that i'm struggling with selling stuff, people just aren't splashing out at the minute. bastards
Galliano
well.. Raje sent me a link telling me that the government need more polution now as they have "run out".so this may mean taxes slashed which will mean money is easy! Fingers crossed.
ecksjay
...what?
Galliano
yeh, raje sent me a link to The Sun's website, they are issueing that the polution saving has gone too far, and now we need more polution to get level or soemthing.. it was on about taxes aswell.. cant remember exactly what it said but thats roughly it
Galliano
this relates to your post ecks, you were saying nobody splashes out as they arent in a position to, well, they may get the splashing out back soon.
ecksjay
they've run out of pollution?mate, read that back to yourself, then eat your own eyeballs.
Starletraje
what he is blabbing about is that in europe they have effectively cut atmospheric pollution so much that its letting the country heat up too much...make your bloody mind up
