Sparky
FMIC all day long
sharky
FMIC all day long cauz am fairly new to turboing....am still learning the best combos and from wat i have read from some places is that fmic's are only benificial when u r using big turbos on high boosts....on smaller setups (like mine...ct9-b on 7-10 psi) tmic tends to do a better job since they have shorter pipes and are less laggy....dat true?and bdw Safc-II a good buy? 5T4R7ET N/A
fmic all day. im not sure about lag but does it matter when the ct9 spools up so quick anyway. Youl defo benefit from more torque and cooler temps.

sharky
yeah my ct-9b spools up around 4k rpm i guess.....so fmic is better then!

sharky
@allbdw my car had an hks fcd....which i have just sold...since i figured i wont be going over 1 bar so i wont be needing it.....so wanted to confirm that the ecu wont cut fuel upto atleast 12 psi...on my ct-9b....am hoping? sharky
and i also want to finalize between getting an apexi safc-II or a piggy back ecu like "obit" since they can do other jobs like ignition timing & boost cut etc (but do i really need that?)
Glanza-Love
strange conversion. but hey hey!! welcome!
sharky
strange conversion. but hey hey!! welcome!thanks....and dude in our part of the world its a common swap....since we dont get the parts to built the orignal gtti engine....4efte becomes the automatic choice ....they fit in well and make gttis go pretty fast....
