BMC CDA vs K&N Apollo

Recommended Posts

I'd like to know people opinions on this before I buy...

BMC CDA is going to cost £140 including postage.

K&N Apollo is £90 including postage.

CDA http://www.bmcairfilters.com/infoCDA.asp

Apollo http://www.knfilters.com/universal/apollo.htm

Both are enclosed air filters with air feed pipe, differences being the shapes of the filter and airbox.

Now that I've seen the K&N I'm leaning heavily towards it, £50 cheaper and I can get it in blue to match other things ;)

I know people say "a filter is a filter" but after talking to Joz and seeing his setup it seemed the BMC was the way to go, but now I've seen the K&N I think I'm gonna go for it.

Opinions please

edit

everytime I see "£50 cheaper" it makes me want the Apollo even more :(
