shelly_star Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 hi chi, have you tried Ring Sportz blue which are 100w ones, i've got them on the SR i have and it's kinda bright and a hint of blue when other people see it coming.Nokya do nice blue tinted ones but they aren't that bright.Or try any of these:http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll...ulbs&category0= Quote
shelly_star Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Also these other bulbs i use, which are half blue half rainbow, 100w/90w.Excuse the purple side light. Quote
shelly_star Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 These are the Nokya ones, but dunno if they do H4, they are nice blue color but you see crap out of them, but my mate loved it, even though the road isn't clear. Quote
starletno1fan Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 i have ring sportz blue, 100wcost me 11quid off ebay and they are brill! Quote
shelly_star Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 they are nice and bright arent they Eric? Well..... least it's a pure white light at night times. Even though yellow bulbs are the best colour for any road, you can see well clear with yellow bulbs, even through fog. Quote
*Toymota* Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 i got 6000k HID xenons to go on my glanza when we get the chance! Quote
ilghap Posted March 15, 2006 Author Posted March 15, 2006 cheers ShellyI tried typing in HID bulbs and found a few but my mate got a set from there and it's yellow.Just 1 thing. do you or anyone else know if the 100w is too powerful for the GT?? when I say powerful I mean HOT, I have plastic headlight, wont 100w melt the lens??? Quote
shelly_star Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 my glanza ones are plastic and have never had a problem yet. do you drive long time at nights? i seriously had no problems. Quote
Nanglebadger Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Dont mean to hi-jack the thread just a question for Shelly...how the hell did u get that sunstrip thro MOT!!!!! I have one similar to that but im havin to have a clear version made up so it'll go thro MOT!!!Phil. Quote
shelly_star Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 the sunstrip is actually on the inside, and our MOT place is quite cool about sunstrips. Quote

I have heard from other people that the power will melt the lens. I dont really want to put it it to the test as the headlights are quite hard to find for thw GT's. Quote
ilghap Posted March 15, 2006 Author Posted March 15, 2006 I am guessing that shelly bought that sunstrip from hong kong. Most of the sunstrips in Hong Kong are see through and they are used on the inside.I was just there about a month ago, Man I am missing it already. Quote
shelly_star Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 yes its from hk, good stuff. Well Chi if you wanna be safe, then low wattage bulbs are your only options. Or if you know anyone from hk that can get you some bulbs. Good luck. Quote
glanzavturborocket Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 yeh looking at shellys car the sunstrip is a good size it all depends on the view from the inside ive seen some fail and some pass at where i work and that looks like a pass to me Quote

Personally i dont like the look of yellowish bulbs. Although i do agree with you that yellows are better for night because it lights up the road better, but these blue ones are stylish Quote
