Standard 0-60 times

Anyone know what the factory 0-60 time for a 96 Ep91 1.3 N/A was?

Mine is dead standard and i did a 12.7.

Just want to know is it better or worse than standard brand new.

The UKDM EP91 (74bhp 4EFE) has a book time of 11.9 (manual) & 17.4 (automatic).

The JDM EP91 (85ps 4EFE) has a booktime of 9.6secs.

The JDM Diesel model (55ps) has a staggering booktime of 22.0secs.

The JDM Glanza V (135ps) has a booktime of 8.2secs.

All figures taken from official Toyota showroom brochures.

For reference,the 5efe (in a Paseo) 0-60 is 11.2 secs

(so would be a touch quicker if in a Starlet)

Pretty confident mine is in the 9s especially if it is the JDM engine

Its a 5EFE Starlet by the way.

I read some where th glanza's were doing under 7's

i guess with some mods you should be able to get a V under the 7 seconds.

Power to weight is also a big thing so stripping you car should also give a better 0-60.

Anyone got a rough idea of how fast an N/A EP91 would be 0-60 with the Corolla intake manifold and a CAI?

well i have both installed so i could do a check this weekend. but its all about the condition of the engine to.

and the oil u use, sparkplugs, leads etc.

but i will give it a try this weekend, a 0-60 run.

Well my engine condition should be somewhat good:

NGK Iridium spark plugs

NGK HT leads

distributor cap & rotor arm were replaced a few months ago (same time as the plugs and leads)

and the engine has been flushed and had fresh oil put in a few months ago aswell

72k miles on the clock so I think it has probably seen the best of it's days to be honest but as with all Toyotas it's still going strong

also wheel setup is going to have an effect on it:

Yes

but width plays a part in it too

Just done 0-60 in 11.4 with four people in the car and boot loaded with crap

Was on a stopwatch so not completely accurate, but it seems good for a fully loaded car with only two basic engine mods (rolla mani and air filter).

last year at york dragway one day i was in my starlet 1.3 totally standard and got my 0-60 down to 10.7 have ticket evidence and in my brothers 1.5 starlet i got his down to 8.6 ticket evidence also wooop am quite good on the strip tho
