not a good way to look at it mate id take the time to sort out other bits before u up th eboost it may be a quick power increase, but can also lead to a quick drainig of money due to having to fix problems

cheers for that i'm looking at a galant vr4 front mount that my brother has in his garage tommorow along with looking to purchase a blitz exhaust and air filter and boost controller to acompany the boost gauge and other gauges

is there anyone local to northants that you know stocks gmax lowering springs as this deperatly needs doing as well

is this about all i would need to run around 12 psi

Is your exhaust just going to be cat-back? You might find just adding these couple breathing mods will make it boost to about 12psi+ without using any form of controller (MBC/EBC/Bleed valve)

You also might find you'll hit fuel cut though.

A screamer pipe will fail your MOT as you are venting exhaust gas straight to atmosphere.

You can get dump pipes that re-introduce the exhaust gas back into the exhaust system further away from the turbine wheel which will have the same benefits as a "screamer pipe" but no boeing747 scream at full boost.
