yup for when you take it off to clean it ^ (if you do that is)

You get a dremel and like polish the inside of it so its nice n shiney

check this guys thread out 1/4 of the way down, even has proven dyno results

7.7 horsepower and 7.3 ft-lbs torque increase

I cant see just the throttle body on the 4e would make any difference unless polishing the inlet mani,as the smooth flow through the TB would again be disturbed by the 'rough' mani?

Il give it a good clean and possibly polish it though.

How much is it for a dyno power run? as i might for the sake of N/A tuners do a before and after run for the Rolla mani. (that is if no one has don it yet)

Things are going to be quiet here for a couple weeks, skint! May paint up the exhaust and inlet mani ready for fitting. Take the side strips off too.

Power run is around £30-£60 depending on where you go. Some only give you 2 runs which is usless.

where abouts in the midlands u from? anywhere near stoke?

and cheers for sayin about the ignition leads :p

Mark

Im from all over the place, live in tamworth and swadlincote. Not sure where stoke is tbh :p

Mabe you could port/polish both?

Im not sure how i would go about polishing the inlet mani, as itd be hard to polish down the 'tubes'

Mannnn wish i still had mine to fit and a dremel...either way imo you would notice something if you did the inner and outer area on the mani aswell as the tb.

Its worth a thought bud as you can do it before you put it on, not sure any N/A owner has done it yet.

i think il give it a go,itd be rude not to, i just dont know how im going to polish the tubes themselves.... as i cant see how you could get a good finish if you cant see what your polishing... i.e. half way down the tubes.
