Turbo timer Vs Central locking

wheneva i turn the car off and the turbo timer keeps it running, i have to stand next to the car until it dies to use my central locking, does everyone elses do this??

what turbo timer do u have?

dont think it will let u lock it when th car is still running.

its a greddy turbo timer, i think its to to withe the brain of the car for safety issues, il be getting a clifford alarm in january so il tell him to do it for me

Ive got a HKS turbo timer. Lets me lock it no problem.

i have the same timer bud and its anoying to say the least. i thought you could lock it and walk away but when the car does shut off it reopens the doors took me about 2 weeks before i noticed it too .

is there any timers that let you close the doors?

Can't you take out the fuse or whatever for the central locking and just lock it manually?

If it's only you using the car why would you need to unlock the passenger side?

well, if you get clifford alarm or an aftermarket one, you can use the central locking while the car is still running, that proberbly my best option

i dont have a tt and havnt had any problems, just let it cool for 30seconds while you gather your crap inside the car job done.

Agreed I think they are over hyped and over rated aslong as you remember to let it cool down it will be fine.

They are designed for RACE cars that get stupidly hot and are raced right to the last second unlike the average road car

The biggest single waste of £100 (thats a lot of fuel to play with) most turbo owners do, i've had 6 turbo cars and not 1 of them has had or needed one, common sense is of far more use.

For day to day driving IE not booting it right to your door there is actually NO need to let it run
