wheneva i turn the car off and the turbo timer keeps it running, i have to stand next to the car until it dies to use my central locking, does everyone elses do this??

its a greddy turbo timer, i think its to to withe the brain of the car for safety issues, il be getting a clifford alarm in january so il tell him to do it for me

i have the same timer bud and its anoying to say the least. i thought you could lock it and walk away but when the car does shut off it reopens the doors took me about 2 weeks before i noticed it too :) .

is there any timers that let you close the doors?

You could always bin the TT as they are a waste of time anyway!!

Agreed I think they are over hyped and over rated aslong as you remember to let it cool down it will be fine.

just piece of mind i guess. and when you dont have one i found that i would just switch it off

They are designed for RACE cars that get stupidly hot and are raced right to the last second unlike the average road car ^_^

The biggest single waste of £100 (thats a lot of fuel to play with) most turbo owners do, i've had 6 turbo cars and not 1 of them has had or needed one, common sense is of far more use.

For day to day driving IE not booting it right to your door there is actually NO need to let it run ^_^
