Blue Icarian Wings Posted May 17, 2006 Share Posted May 17, 2006 I had a list but lost it due to wiping my compy, here a few I rememberCamskillStarlet GT TurboAlso search for envy performance, and have a look around this site a few other sites get mentionedYou can buy eletric superchargers off e-bay, but first check out this review of a home made oneI get the impression you could get a BMW mini supercharger off EBay you can get others but their really expensive or for too big engines, dunno how you would power it though (would need attaching to the crank somehow?)Edit: When uping the air the pressure you may need to get stronger piston rod/heads, you buy expensive forgies if your using very high boost, or 2nd hand pair of 4E-FTE's, 5E's might do also, I've read somewhere the NA valve springs are weak so they would need to be replaced, and the cams being reprofiled to take advantge of the new forced induction system would offer more performance (reprofile exisitng cams, or again nick some 4E-FTE ones)Read this site, what the guy has done and learnt is very useful Quote Link to post Share on other sites

scutch0 Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 you'd need an ecu also, plus the problem is that the pulleys are on the wrong side for a supercharger, so you'll need some piping to get it round the right side.the mini ones would be easier as theyre cheap(ish) from ebay, but the rest is gonna be a nightmare to do, giive it to a specialist with a ecu that'll work and get them to do it!!
