where is the oil filter on a 96 galanza.

bottom of the block in the most awkward place u can imagine

its on the front of the blockleft of the turbo, an absolute pig to get too,

halford sell kits that can unbolt them for you,

have a look on any E series toyota engine and it will give you an idea where it is.

cheers managed to find it but this is gona sound crazy a smashed ma sump and dont want to pay toyota prices anybody know where a can get one from and a price.

scrap yard mate but you will proberly need a turbo one as i think the return pipe from the turbo gos in to the sump

Fuckin hamilton. just slowly bumped up a curb n heard a bad sound it turned out it was just the gasket that cracked fixed now ;) (the sump was only 70 from toyota )
