Handbrake Light.

the little light that comes on when you use your handbrake comes on when i use my brakes. used to be just hard braking but not its more or less whenever i push the pedal. any ideas. sounds like a dodgy wire or somethin but i thought id check n see what people say . cheers

that light can also mean your brake fluid level is low and it might be going under min when you press the pedal

As above, also check that your pads aren't low, as this can also be a cause of the fluid reaching a low level when braking heavily

cheers guys. think it could be the pads because i was just in the bay and the fluid is at high so ill check the pads. excuse to buy new brakes

i just changed my pads last month and my fluid is fine and this happens to me too

happens to me also, that said i haven't checked my fluid level yet

i would have said a fluid issue when its under load from braking, they dont have issue with fluid sensor wiring do they???

Happens to me too. Happened when front pads were low, changed them and it went.

Happening again at moment but my rears are shagged so down to that.

yeah it happens to me but only under hard braking
