l1 jev Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 thanks to anyone that can help me been reading up lots about this and just want to make sure i got this right i am doing a standard turbo change on my ep91 putting another standard one on and not touch the boost doing the gaskets and decat do i need to change the standard mainfold or not is it just a preformance mod or are the standard one easy to crack thanks to anyone that helps me ;) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
ste91 Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Yes mate it's definately worth changing the manifold, you will get better performance.Also you have probably read about it already, there is a restriction on runner #3 which is no good for the 3rd cylinder.The design of the manifold is important and also the material, it's no good getting a cheapy stainless steel one off ebay they will just crack but at the same time some manifolds can be quite expensive.
