japcarmaniac Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 ive just got my starlet and filled it for the first time today and noticed that the surround around the petrol entry is realy badly corroded! the bit that the cap scres down on. anybody else had this problem? is it common? can it be fixed easly? If I were you i would take the filler neck out buff the rust off clean the panel around it paint the filler neck black. put it back togeather and grease everything up.
