Starlet Turbo Automatics

i'm looking at buying a starlet turbo within the next few days.

i can only drive automatics so i was just wondering what the autobox is like on the starlet? is it quick? reliable?

also, what do all the different variants of the model mean? EP82, etc...

from what i hear autos are great blooming fast.

Ep82 is the older shape gt turbo

Ep91 is the newer Glanza

as far as i can remember they can take 170bhp through them with good oil.!! and an oil cooler in place. then the plates will start to slip.

good good... going from a clio with absolute shite autoboxes, i wanna make sure theyre nowhere near as bad on a starlet!

Yeah know a few with auto glanza's, they say it's still nippy for an auto

yea auto boxes are the shiznit, there is abit of a stigma about them they would be slower but if i stall the clutch and build up the boost lights i can take off just as quick as most things,

you can basicaly ragg an auto just a s hard as a manual by shifting from d to second,

and i raced a manual glanza along a twisty road and the other dude was surprised at the little difference in pace....

im still converting to manual at some point but after i boost it up im gona get a 1.3 automatic sitcker on the back like yours jay!
