BradRT Posted July 8, 2006 Share Posted July 8, 2006 i'm looking at buying a starlet turbo within the next few days.i can only drive automatics so i was just wondering what the autobox is like on the starlet? is it quick? reliable?also, what do all the different variants of the model mean? Guest Enzo Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 yea auto boxes are the shiznit, there is abit of a stigma about them they would be slower but if i stall the clutch and build up the boost lights i can take off just as quick as most things,you can basicaly ragg an auto just a s hard as a manual by shifting from d to second,and i raced a manual glanza along a twisty road and the other dude was surprised at the little difference in pace....im still converting to manual at some point but after i boost it up im gona get a 1.3 automatic sitcker on the back like yours jay!
