Glanza S cams are the same as na 4efe's mate so no.

Glanza S, Glanza V, 4efe, 5efe are all the same cams.

4efte has 1mm extra lift but same duration.

5efhe off a SERA will be the best to go

was going to say i believe the turbo cams are slightly igher lifting than the n/a cams

id just like to see some proof of that. as ive never heard that before.

was my understanding that they were all the same except for the fhe cams.

only difference i knew about on the fte from the fe was the valve springs.

I've heard there was a slight difference hence why some na owners fit a fte inlet cam..

ah yeah, i know Dale. he does know his onions no doubt about that.

that said, im pretty sure there isnt an apparent difference in the cams. if the figures are different, that would tent to suggest its a machining issue rather than a deliberate change.

interesting discussion though. id quite like to have a look my self, i think i have some fe cams at home

im just interested as i had always thought that they were the same (and still believe that to be honest).

varying lifts on old used cams doenst really mean anything. could be wear and tear for all anyone knows.

I totally agree with you StarletRick. There has been confusion between all of us in Austarlet

All arguements coming from the top blokes;

i had the specs somewhere and they are the same.

the fhe ones have the 1mm of extra lift,

either way 1mm... that's not going to make a large amount of difference anyway, wouldn't make any noticeable difference in real world driving i'm sure.

youd be surprised when you start revving the motor out.... it can make a decent difference.

4efe has its own inlet cam and shares exhaust cam with5efe. 5efe shares inlet cam with fte and something something.

Yes they are all different people Ive checked. Please stop saying they are all the same. I have fte heads and cams on my 4efe and 5efe includin the stiffer vavle springs. They love revvin now

they will work though as ive had glanza s cams in my gt and they were that exact ones off ebay. car ran fine idled fine and still revs perfect. but then i upgraded to a 5efhe head
