shaneyb
My wheels rub when turning, my starlet is lowered 40mm and is on 15s with 195/50s on. Would spacers sort this out? Any suggestions anyone?
Curtis
do you mean on full lock bud, where does it rub

Curtis
there should be a et number on the back of the wheel, e.g if it is et43 get a 3mm spacer because you want to get it as close to 40 as possible

chanelle1234
spacers wouldn't sort that out bud im afraid. You will need offset between 40-43.chanelle x
Dean @RW-Developments
i thought starlets were et37/38 offset? the lower the offset the more they stick out, that offset you have should be fine. wat width are they?
shaneyb
Im not sure, will it say on the back of the wheel aswell?
Liam_D
I have this problem also, with 195/50's and SR Speedlines and lowered 40mm. I dont mind though as its only on full lock.
Amjad
Me too, Team Dynamics 195/50/15s and lowered 40mm
shaneyb
Me too, Team Dynamics 195/50/15s and lowered 40mm Hmm so im not the only one. Going to have a look and see what the tires are catching.
Liam_D
Its just the inner arches mate, the little plastic bits. Nothing to worry about at all.
anup67
roll out the arches....but if you say it the inside, then i dont know
shelly_star
I think it might be to do with your tyre size aswell, as SR standard tyre size is 195/45/15, i think my brother had a few problems with rubbing too when he swapped his low profile tyres for 195/50s and lowered by 40mm, plus the wrong offset might be a problem too. shaneyb
Yeh I think its just the tyre size as it was on 195/45 before. Its a shame as I prefer 195/50 . The offset is apparently fine though. Might have a proper look and see if spacers can solve my problem. Thanks for all the help everyone :-).
shelly_star
You can either raise the car which i doubt you'll do, or get try get the inner arch rolled (if you know what i mean) :s if it's the right term :D

Looks like the next tyres are going to have to be low profile :-(.
