RobSR Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 BP ultimate isn't all that to be honest.. It's only 97 RON. In a test it came out 3rd behind tesco 99 and then V Power... Quote
jimmy77 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 i tend to use v power, if i di track days i tend to put in some octane booster Quote

Steve GT Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 but the super unleaded/v power/optimaz etc does make a difference over the normal unleaded fuels doesnt it? some people are saying it makes no difference at all. well as i said it may not be a big bhp difference but you can notice a better responsivness in your car in my opinion Quote
ste91 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 It's more a case of preventing detonation than anything. As far as I know, they use higher octane fuel over in Japan, so their "regular" fuel is probably similar to our "super". Quote
Steve GT Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 yeh and its probably much much cheaper lol Quote
