It's exactly the same apart from 4EFTE valve springs are slightly stronger.

Unless you use a 5EFHE head which has different cams. Other than that it's pointless.

It's been done several times - they are essentially the same head, the only difference being the camshafts and obviously the valve lifters. Gains are definitely to be had, but as for actual objective results, I at least have not seen any - Toby of ToyTuning used to claim about 15-20bhp gain on a stock 4E-FTE.

But yes, more lift/duration (can get exact figures easily), and they generally improve the powerband in the upper rpm range

the fhe head is the same.... there is only one type of head for the 4E and 5E.

the differences are in the cams/springs.

from personal experience, here is what i have found.

4EFE - nothing

4EFTE - stronger valve springs.

5EFE - nothing

5EFHE - stronger valve springs.

5EFHE ACIS - one of the cams has a higher lift/stronger valve springs.

na, wouldnt need anything to be honest.

its only an extra 1mm of lift on the intake. to be honest, you wouldnt feel it on the car. it might make couple of HP higher up in the rev range at best.
