BlackRocket
My gearbox has started to grind into 3rd at high revs/boost.It doesn't seem to be any other gears but if I do a fast-ish change into 3rd it seems to be slipping into gear and making a fast grinding noise. If I granny change (Fully depress clutch then notch it in at a "1 and 2 and" kind of speed then lift the clutch its fine.Do you think its the syncro ring on 3 or something else. Not really a technical whiz with gearboxes so would appreciate any help/ advice. If it is the syncros, how expensive are they and where do I get them from (dealer on here or do I have to be bum raped by my main dealer?)CheersSteve
