GT Phayer Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 i was just thinking ....when drivin in the rain wont the rain go into the filter and into the engine ?????? Quote
dale10ellis10 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Im dead worried about this as well, thought i was being daft. I brick it every time i end up behind a lorry when the road is wet and there is loads of spray Dale. Quote
micky boy Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 if you are out in the rine and you are geting spray by a lorry it will be fine lol the heat from the turbo is unreal it will just end up in to condensation if that...if you put your car under water then it will matter lol Quote
Kingcarr Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 thats why your best off putting the air filter in the engine bay, with a nice cold air feed... if you look at the stock air feed on an N/A to the air box, there is almost a "U" bend to prevent the water even getting to the filter... Quote
Steve GT Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 never had a problem with my front mount filter to be honest so i wouldnt worry about it too much lol Quote
