Guest Enzo
ok i have one space left for the thrash due to one person pulling out and thought i would advertise this space on here.,idealy it would be great if you either had a decent amount of turbo power on your starlet or you knew how to drive you car, ie launch properly off the line for timingthe reason i ask this as last year we were pulling some lame times and alot of people slated us for that so we dont want to make that mistake again,so if you feel like you fall into one of the categorys above please post your interest people ;)it will be held at bruntingthorpe on a week today, the track time has been booked along with the datron timing gear and profesional photographer,im still waiting on a few more people confirming so there could be a posebility of another space tooo, tell me what you guys thing

rorenapier
Not to piss on the fire here, but:rant:I dont see why you are holding out for a big power starlet/glanza.If someone is willing to take the place and have a go,then why not??Also this crap about launching etc is bollox, the surface is pants, about as good as crail! No decent launching. Also im stil to see you run at crail aswell.:end rant:There should be a couple of quick rex's there.I know of a few that runs low 13's to high 12's.Have a good day anyway. Guest Enzo
ok rory i feel i have some explaining to do.....id be abit of a hipocrit if i were laying outlines and not abiding by them....in no vergin to crail buddy, i raced there a few times but got frustrated with the place at not being able to post any decent times, im adiment that their timing equipments dodgy plus the the surface isnt ideal due to site being protected from any alterations at all. in short ive raced there quite a few times now.......If someone is willing to take the place and have a go,then why not??ok, last year the club went for an overal view of starlets as a whole, there were quite a few strip vergins there and as we had only two shots on track the times suffered as a result, one excuse that the surface was poor but ive seen many a car post decent times on it so i dont buy that.the large majority from here and there and (probably a nation of starlet luvers) as a whole voiced there opinion slating us in that the fact not one starlet got, to be expected times... alot of people were disapointed as was i with the times and tbh they should have been alot better, the brief for this year was simple, had a spraf with the editor aftre bryn(organises shoots with J tuner) had posted on here being interested in doing the thrash...... two standard starlets for bench testing and the others as fast as we could get them, this way j-tuner could paint a proper picture of how capable we all know the turbo eps are, now here is the bad news...the thrash has been postponed.had phone call from Bryn about an hour ago stating that bruntingthorpe has had an insanction placed upon it by a court about noise polution, the result of this is that all motorsports are banned from this site until further notice, there has been a hoo haa going on with this for some time now and seams totaly irish to me as its still an active airfield, bryn asures me that hell sort something out as it also puts a big part of the content of the magazine in jepardy as they use bruntinthrope alot as you know.elvington race way and bedford autodrome are too other avenues to explore...but the former is booked up until the end of october and the latter is booked up for the rest of the year,i did sugest to him about crail but as they want 3k for the privlage this looks like a bleak option.for people that have booked time off sorry about that, please dont shove the dery on me ;)There should be a couple of quick rex's there.a couple of rex's where bro?ps ive just read over what ive wrote, sorry for the rant.......
