chriswoodfto
i was wondering if it had anything to with the snow, i know that sounds stupid, but last time it snowed i had the problem with it feeling like it was driving thru glue, and wouldnt boost proply at all. int end it was water down spark plug hole. chriswoodfto
right this morning on the way to work, it boosted to 0.8 bar, held it till it got to about 6.900rpm then it started to drop off, only by 0.02 down to 0.78. it usually boosts to 0.84 tho. any more ideas? still sound like a leak? checked the turbo again and no smoke. Glanza_cl
well the natural boost curve of a turbo will drop slightly towards the limiter... and 0.02 of a bar is nothing lol. you might have a very slight leak somewhere so just go over all the vac lines and pipes which could potentially be loosing pressure. but really that lower drop is most likely natural turbo loss/ warmer weather (it's only a tiny ct9 remember lol)with the snow thing you mentioned... that could be water getting in/near the plugs causing possibly some hesitation. have you noticed any miss fire at all in the snowy weather? DavidAshton
Weather, its warmed up, less dense air, less boost.
chriswoodfto
not really a miss fire yet, but last time it snowed it took maybe 5days to proply get donw in the hole, then it misfired like a bitch, its either snowed or rained here for ages so ill get the plugs out tuesday and check out the hole. glad its not serious, didnt think it would be as the cars been perfect since i bought it.
