Im trying to mod my rear lights properly to suit my 98 spec rear lens,and need a pic of inside the housing of the lamp,on a 98 spec rear lamp,

its the bottom sidelight im havin problems with,had red bulbs fitted but they look pink when light through clear part of lens.

no just ordinary red 382 bulbs,tryed to glue a red lens into the housing but not working,got the top one sorted i think.

Hmmmm i used the LED bulb's on mine and it was fine you can buy them from halfords.

I also used that reflective sticky foil stuff on the inside and it lit the full street up lol

are the led bulbs single contact bulbs? were did you get the foil stuff your takin bout ? might do the job.

Yeah mate just the same bulb's you would use as normal but with about 10 leds in a cluster.

As for the foil i got it off my dad im not to sure where he got it from or what it is used for but i can ask him and get back to you mate

Not a problem mate....and also its not red sticky foil.. its just like tin foil but sticky lol the led bulb's are red lol if you get me

i will find out where he got it mate if he still has some left i will send you some in the post asap :thumbsup: but the first thing i would do it go to halfords and get the red led bulb's

here what they look like im not sure if these will fit you car so dont buy them lol

Stevie I think they have cheaper foil rolls on Ebay too, under £5 iirc..

I think I'm gonna use some chrome spray on mine now after seeing woodyp's reflet lights! Hope they don't mind me using these pics!
