took the restriction off 1st and 2nd and 100% done it right. but now as the revs go passed 4 or 5k the power just dies the car shakes a bit then is fine. is this fuel cut? my only mods are full zaust system and bov. im a bit baffled tbh

installed my boost gauge and its goin round to nearly 14 psi before it cuts out ??? everything on my car is standard whats going on :thumbsup: also the engine managment light comes on for a few seconds when it happens then it will go off

Maybe you're just having a 'boost spike'. Does the boost also go up too much with the restriction in place? Like it spikes and then goes back to the normal position?

no it was fine with the restriction still in place

MINE IS DOIN EXACTLY SAME ITS BOOST CREEP HOW CAN THIS BE SOLVED ? I DID PIPE CHANGE SAME PROBLEM CAN SOME ONE HELP US

anyone got any ideas on this? i put the restriction back on and its boosting fine,

Can you list your mods so we can see if they are the reason for the boost creep.

Well,if it is overboosting, then you should either turn the boost down via an adjustable actuator or a boost controller.

You can also buy a Fuel cut defence (FCD), but you will have to have it professionally set up unless you know what you are doing and up the boost pressure so it can fuel the car correctly.

straight through exaust and backbox. and bailey dump valve
