chriswoodfto Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 as above, went to sort the tyre pressures yesterfay and i cannot for the life of me get them off. There properly stuck, i twisted as hard as i cud, didnt wana twist much harder as didnt wana reck the valve shaft. any ideas??? Quote
micky boy Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 If they are plastic heat them up with boiling water pluss use to sets of grips so you can twist the top and keep the bottom still so you dont fuck the valve Quote

chriswoodfto Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 will do, i think ive done exactly the same before is haste, just thoguht the ep91 was just general ep91 stuff, i have now learnt my lesson. Quote
Guest cheshireglanza Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 i had this on my white ep91 set of grips on the cap and hold the valve with pair off grips then turn the cap should come off Quote
jason_l Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 This reminds me of my old job sounds random i know but my old boss was a complete gimp. So when i left i superglued up his tyre valves a treat! Make sure the ones you have are not the security type that have a little grub screw in the side otherwise it will destroy the valves if you don't undo the little grub screw. Im sure they are not but just in case.Jason Quote
chriswoodfto Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 thats the frist thing i thought to be honest, i thought some little bitch had glued them on but one of them comes off easy as you like so dont think its that. good skeeming though.lol Quote
jobo Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 this is my most hated job at work, if it dont budge with 2 pair of grips its 4 valves for you, plastic caps = great, metal caps = bad Quote
