Greetings and welcome!

Now that the plesantries are over, N/As ARE NOT POO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D As Geo said, they have WADS of potential, they can be made into road legal go-carts with relatively little expense (talk to Geo for more info) and they can be played with to get a good wee power figure from too (is it Slim that has played with his?? someone will confrm or deny this im sure). Check out the Extreme EP section dude to see some of then/as on the site and wot can be done to em. I recommend checkin out SiCaln's old SR Geoff, Scutch0's old motor (now Oli's), Joz's red Jap beast and Wylo's green scottish low-rider...and mine lol!

Phil.

Welcome to UKSC mate!

There's so many options open to you its unbelievable...

Seeing as its your 1st car, it would be a huge step to go straight to turbo, and a lot of people think that way.

Why? lol You would be better off with a lovely n/a, make it more personalised, won't because an atom bomb in tuning or engine related repairs that are associated with a turbo and won't cost u a left nut to insure... and you'll still have fun with a few certain additions thrown in and maybe safer for a few years to get some drivin experience under your belt? Ok, it won't be a cheap road to get an n/a loOking and running top notch, but modifying any car has its ups and downs. So think of what you want mate, street cred? Pah, join the club mate, there's gts/glanzas everywhere, nothing new there, its thanks to the true enthusiasts to stand out from the crowd...

Anyway mate, thats not gospel, just another way of thinking about it from my swirly imagination, take with a pinch of salt, but us na guys altho have a lack in engine power, make up for it with great handling potential, individuality and a mirror image of the owner him/herself rather than a generic outlook. You can also get some kickass jdm tuning parts that will fit the n/a too. With a gt/glanza, true, you are all set to go but is it worth it so soon at the start, wont be anything to look forward to after, by then you would have fallen in love with the na.............. have the courage and people wont look down on ya, promise

Good luck wit your test, and good luck with your decision.

Feel free to ask anything and plz plz plz have a look in the Extreme Ep Rides section, some of the members cars on here need to be seen to be believed, much much inspiration floating around.

Hope to see you around on the forums soon!

Im off for some individual pizza, lonely driver style :D

Peace Out

Joz

Took me three attempts!

To mirror joz, with a few strut bars the na handling improves, coilovers, and you got a go-kart, add the mani and apexi filter, the enigine responds quicker, new exhaust (or just get a welder to remove the center box) and that should help a bit too

Being a 17yr old new driver, your probably gonna be bleed dry on insurance even the humble 1.3 might cost a bomb, add a turbo, I don't wanna think about

When your older with a few years NCD, get a Glanza or drop a 5E-FE in (1.5L), thats my plan

Welcome by the way!
