They might be able to give you a limited time interest free overdraft so you won't get any charges. I would make a point of speaking to a manager or someone higher up though as the people at the counter probably can't do shit!As for the company i don't know what is the best thing to do? Are they going under then?Jason

DavidAshton
Happened to me mate about a year ago, company went bust, last payslip on a cheque, cheque bounced. Basically your fucked, i never saw a penny of it, there are no specific legal bodies to help you. I know for a start you have to send your employer a letter requesting your wages and they have a month to reply before you can even think about taking it to court. Even if it get to court, chances are your employer will say they have no money and that will be that. You will be at the bottom of the list esp. if other companies are owed coin. If they are going under i would get my arse down there one night and help myself to their shit! Take whatever you can to the value of what they owe. If they are going bust then they have enough other stuff to worry about.Like when Rover went bust and it showed people walking out with engines, and as much parts as they could carry.EDIT: you post up as i did They are not going bust, then that is a posative note. You may have to take them to small claims court but if they keep trading you should get your money! Not going to be easy but you should get it i guess!

LukeH
i am not verry knowledgable on this but something similar happened to my mum a year ago. go to citezens advice. if you can proove that they have breached there company procuderues or employers rights ect you shouldn't have a problem getting back your money, possibly more. should all be stated in contract of employement ect. but as i am 17 i dont neccesarily know shit, ( : just what i have herd from my mums case. but yea mum was impressed with citezens advice, free advice cant be bad.
