What Cars Have A 4efe In?

my mate is looking at buying an MR2 he has found for sale that is registered as a 1.3

im going to see it tomorrow but i never knew they made a 1.3 litre

has the log book been forged or is it a genuine 1.3 with a 4efe engine in or what?

The corolla and starlet were given the 4E-FE...the little engine would have a mammoth task moving a MR2 let alone get the rear wheels spinning up!!

i know

my mate got an insurance quote on it and it came up as a 1.3 toyota MR2 but i had no clue they made one

Infact they didn't, must be a typo - I'm not sure what the UK MR2's used, a 3S-GE I believe? The American n/a's used the 5S-FE which is a 2.2l

Edit - yeah riko the UK MR2's used the 3SGE.

Im sure any "gt" in the mr2 means 2L n/a

thats wjhat i thought but it is registered as a 1.3 and the owner is 100% adament its a 1.3 lol

has he done an engine conversion and registered?

no raised engine bay vents, no air con mentioned, not a import, uk model, 2.0 n/a who you use a 1.3 to shove that, doesnt make sense, sounds like hes pulling your leg or the dvlas for cheap insurance lol, also would make great car for first driver????????????????

the uk mr2's have the 3sge engine (2.0l)

some of the early imports have a 3sfe engine, still a 2.0l but only around 138bhp ish

the seller is obviously on something tbh

yeah he i finally got hold of the seller and its a 2.litre so my mate has just bought a 1.4 5dr golf
