Cuts Out At 3500rpm?

Hi guys,

This weekend i fitted a FMIC and a HKS actuator, all seemed well untill i really gave it the beans this morning, the gauge was going round to 11psi as set by me, but this morning when i booted it it went right round to about 15psi in 3rd gear, then it just stopped revving more than 3500rpm and wont pull past this, is this fuel cut? its not been boosting properly for a while so fitted the actuator to see if that would help, boost usually comes in at 2000rpm and is on full boost by 2500rpm, it doesnt seem to pull properly, turbo spools up fine, boost comes on but its very short and sweet.

The list of mods i have is:

Relocated air filter to front

New manifold

FMIC

HKS actuator

Oil catch tank

A/C removed

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

I'd say so as fuel cut kicks in at 12.5 psi and if you haven'rt ported the waste gate you will get creep.

I found that if i set my actuator to 10psi it stopped creeping just before fc before my waste gate was ported but since I've not had any form of creep since but everyones car/creep is different so don't take my words as gospel

so your car stops reving at 3.5k? or does it missfire?

It pulls great from go, climbs up in every gear to 3500 then it just doesnt seem to want to go past it, like its runs out of power, i doubt its a misfire as have changed the plugs about 2months ago and the leads seem fine. i thought it might have been an air leak but i checked and all the pipes are tight.

I'll probably turn the boost down as i know anythin over 12.5 is to high on standard turbo and wastegate, will prob turn it back down to 0.8psi and hoing that will do the job.

Also just to note, i set the actuator to 125mm when it was off the car, when it was on obv it stretched a bit. i should have done this off the car right?
