Do Cars 'use' Oil?

my bros silvia uses oil and so does my cousins sr?

would that be the hard driving or exhausts etc?

we arent that worried about the silvia as shes only used for tracks and maintained regular but what about the sr?

My SR burns quite a lot of oil, only if i rag it around though... Pottering it uses hardly any!!

Yeah dude, every car will use oil, some more than others for many reasons. The point where somthing is wrong is usually determind by blue smoke, topping oil up everytime you drive (if there arnt any leaks) etc. Typically they will use oil the more they are 'thrashed'-generally speaking.
