Engine Stand

what bolts do i use to bolt my engine to the stand?

should i go out and buy some, or use the actualy gearbox bolts, which i have none of so anybody know the thread sixe and that of the gearbox bolts?

no actual stand so i can strip it and rebuild it

yeah gearbox bolts will do it mate.not sure on thread size etc

damm, ive seen some on ebay, but that means i cant make a start until they get here :/

any one else know the size so i can just go out and buy some while i wait for the gearbox 1s to come?

take one of your gearbox bolts out and go and match it up in hardware store.get them a little longer as some stands the gear box bolts are not long enough, you can still drive you car with one missing too.

i havent got any, hence why i need to buy them off ebay dude

and dont let my avatar fool you its a sportif, but ive got a 4efte engine and gearbox from 2 separate people ready to go in once ive rebuilt the engine lol

pretty sure 4efe gear box bolts are the same as 4efte one.pull one out of your car and see if they fit in the block on your 4efte, i think they will then you are onto a winner.
