oh, and when it first happened, there wer loads, and they sold for £50 - £400.

so the price is a bit wild.

there was about 200,000 undated ones produced, there not that rare, and certainly not worth much more than the mint offer for them.

there are still loads in circulation as well, who knows a few of us could have had our hands on 1 at some point and never known. I mean who checks every 20p for dates?

It was 20'000 and the mint offers to buy them back for 50 quid a piece, although you could flog them for a few hundred at the time, but tbh im pretty sure theres not many left circulating between the mint buying them back and recycling them and collectors sticking them in a case

^^the mint didn't mention it at first so i bet they got a few back with out paying people.

I'll be keeping mine..if its not worth anything in years to come then ive not lost anything its still worth the 20p lol

I know its mental but its true, until they hit the news everyone thought this was a one off so it was like stupidly rare then people found out lots of em excist
