Sanchez
its not secret mate, all the ae86s that are serious drift cars get nissan engines, Have a look through all the decent ae86 members garages on there, and you will see loads with the sr series engineshttp://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-car-...un-project.htmlhttp://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-car-...-coupe-irs.htmlhttp://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-car-...-best-both.htmli could go all day lol

Liam_D
Yeah as said its quite a common conversion to be honest. That black one in the Driftworks link is immense, seen it at Trax last month.

Dan507
Ahaa, id love an s13, but the insurace. get get insured on a 2.0l
Dan507
I'd keep the ae an 1.6i see what you mean, AE86 are pretty rare and expencive, but its just the insurance. at 18 the Ae is alot cheaper than an GT to insure. s13's are cheap and there are parts every where but its just insurance witch is catching me. witch is why i quite fancy a AE. series70boy
They look great from the outside with a kit and some nice wheels but the 1980's valour seats and cheap fake leather on the dash is fucking HORRIBLE!!! I couldnt live with one I know that much. If you get one, enjoy it. The best thing about them is they hold their money so when you do get bored of having no power, you can sell up to the next un suspecting fanboi i love the AE's and that horrid 80's dash and those seats would not bother me... much reminisant to my ep70!!!!!!AE ftw... one of my ultimate favorite cars
Dan507
I see you're point. I think I'll wait and get an s13 in a few years. It's going to be a long wait lol. It is going to have a few hits. I couldn't do that to the AE. Thanks for you're advice.
