How low to go?

I was wondering if anyone has different pics of different lowering heights, on a SR/ solida/ not glanza

as in 25mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60, 100 ;)

probably about 60mm though once they settled

It depends what you've got under the car sometimes ;) Speed bumps are just a right bastard at times.

Yup, can't lower my car as go over bout 20 speed bumps a day due to my route to work ;)

Is also partially why my suspension i knackered. Well, might just be lack of slowing down for the speed bumps

This is my starlet as it is now lowered on coilovers approx 50 (maxed) front and 55 (unmaxed) rear. I used to have the rear even lower (the 2nd pic) but it rubbed hehe.

Having the ride height even and just about right makes for better driveability. Too low and the shocks have nowhere to rebound. It would only be worth going lower for shows etc. I still scrape the odd speed bump with this height. My car was very high on standard suspension so my approx figures justify this. Handles like a runaway minecart with my setup by the way ;) And its not all about looks, its how it handles too. Im also on 195/45 low profile tyres, so if I whacked 195/50s on, they would fill out better.

Enzo what size tyres and suspension was that sr running??

mines running on 45 like joz's and mine has nearly been grounded on a couple of occasions and im only running on the standard TTE springs and dampers on an SR but im thinking ABOUT GOING UP TO 50's
