Liam_D Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I cant even insure a GT/Glanza at 20 Rang up Sky yesterday told them my age and they said we cant insure you on that vehicle. Quote

Dan507 Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 yeah, it sucks, for me it looks like that admiral is the best, i put the reg in of a gt and it was 2.1kstill a silly amount Quote
scot-ish Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 i was told admiral dont insure starlets till 21, but i think they insure the gt but not the glanza till 21. strange like. Quote

drew-turbo Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 well, think im going to have to wait abit and stick with the Sput your mother under your name ( you as the main driver ) its not fronting because your the main driver knocks it down a tad. Quote
_shaun_ Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 can do what i did when i had my crx with admiral on there muilty car i had my main car down as a 1.4 golf and my weekend car as crx was 1400 like that and they wanted 3k to insure my crx on its own so was worth paying to keep golf moted/ taxed and made a handy run around to Quote
Amjad Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 You got the S insured cheap no? I'm sure a GT wouldn't be too bad with a year's NCB if you do it in the same way? Quote
BAZ2CRAZY Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Wtf liam. I insured mine when i was 20... With sky-mods declared. You will be lucky to get insured at 18 on a gt.. Especially with mods-if you do itl be over 2k no doubt. Dont even consider a glanza lolJust wait man, i have a gt now yet i still miss my ep91 n/a.Mitch Quote
Dan507 Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 Yeah, the S is only pedants business policy. Therfore I could of had a v from the start. But my mum says she flatly refuses to insure me with a turbo starlet. So I would have to find my own policy. Quote
Guest chezyboiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 admiral multi quote :) with sombody with loads of ncb im 18 on there with my mum and its 1000 pounds i have 1 years no claims  Quote
BigMan Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 you might aswell use the s for at least a year or two before getting a turbo starlet, be easier to insure then and get your moneys worth from the s Quote
LeeG Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 insurance always will be high for new young drivers. I'm 22 and have a multi car policy with admiral. My girlfriend is the policy holder and we have my glanza, her yaris t-sport and my runabout corsa insured for 700.I agree, add your mum as a second driver and it should reduce the price. Quote
Nanglebadger Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 as scot-ish rightly states, insurance is one of the few perks about gettin older.Phil. Quote
LukeH Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I'm 18, with a years no claims i got my insurance for £1200.try basildon insurance. Quote
