chewit Posted November 12, 2010 Share Posted November 12, 2010 HEY GUYS, BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON LAST NIGHT ON WAY HOME FROM WORK , WHEN I RETURNED TO IT THIS MORNING IT WENT OUT SO GOT SOME METER READINGS FROM THE BATTERY ,LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK PLEASE AS I AM A BIT OF A NOOB BATTERY VOLTAGE WITH IGNITION OFF -12.65 ENGINE RUNNING (IDOL) -14.36 HEATERS AND LIGHTS ON - 12.93 HEATERS AND LIGHTS WITH RADIO - 12.50AS YOU CAN SEE THE MORE LOAD I PUT ON THE MORE THE VOLTAGE DROPS, ON A FULL LOAD THE VOLTAGE IS LESS THAN THE BATTERY WITH IGNITION OFF I QUESS THIS IS WHY THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON. I RECENTLY INSTALLED SUB AND AMP HERES WHERE I NEED HELP .
