Has anybody relocated their air filter with airconditioning in place, I don't have a FMIC so was wondering if i can use the same pipe routing that a FMIC would take to relocate the intake?

If anyone has done this could they tell me what hoses and joins i would need?

why have you still got air con? we have a couple of weeks of hot enough weather to need it a year....

oh wait i saw your username :(

haha

ok... there is next to NO space to do with with air con still in place unfortunatly.... get it taken off buddy! you'll be impressed with the gains you get!

personally i agree with matt the first thing i do is remove aircon on a starlet

but some people do like the luxury of aircon when it is warmer

if you do want to keep it and relocate the filter heres a useful pic which shows where the filter was relocated to whilst keeping the aircon unit on

hope this helps :D

tbh steve, that pic is silly... to get the filter there the piping must have to go under the air con rad? making the route longer then the stock efi pipe???

you need to get a pic of that setup from a better angle to make it useful.....

yeh but there isnt room between the air con rad and the chassis leg to fit a pipe round is there :s

the water system rad is further to the passenger side so there is just enough room then!
