Nanglebadger
Ok folks,my mate has a Corrolla Compressor, and this week spent a VERY large sum of money on a custom exhaust for it. Like, silly money! it's utter porn, cant wait to see it for myself.HOWEVER, in the midst of it the guy also inserted a decat as requested, but this seems to upset the lambda sensor and is causing the engine management light to come on.any suggestions for how to resolve this engine light coming on folks????Phil. Bluebear
Foggydog has a Compressor now?? Or are you on about someone else?
Nanglebadger
no no, thats him, Fogdoggydog, bought a Rolla compressor a few months back, 215bhp stock. rolled her at ECC and got 197bhp, then found out she had a hole in the exhaust and was running in "limp" mode, so reset the ECU to resolve that shit, should be nearer the stock figure.then this week got a full Custom Pipes exhaust made with decat section, he paid for it near what i paid for my FTE!!!!! it'll be immense.Joel - i dont know how he knows that what it is, i dont think its been plugged in no.Phil. micky boy
Yeah as said above i think a sports cat is the only option other then a piggy back ECU..More money lol
bullet513
the reason the lambda sensor is playing up, there are 2 fitted on that car, 1 pre cat and 1 after cat, the second sensor isnt picking up a difference as the cat isnt there, need to get the car remapped and the limits reset on the second lambda sensor. had this problem alot when i used to tune the newer cars. easy but expensive fix.
