Josh@TunerLifestyle
rite guys I've been having this problem for some time now and its really baffling me! my engine management light came on while i was on the motorway and i couldent think why, i wasn't driving fast or on boost so it wasn't fuel cut.after this i did a diagnostic test and it came up with the falt code 42it says its the VSS sensor wich means if my coolant temp is up to temp and the rpm of the car is between 3000 and 5000 rpm for 8 seconds ( something like that neways)this will cause the code to come oni was told to change the coolant temp sensor ( wich i have done twice now ) still no luck!tried doing some research on the web and theres hardly any info on it!so could someone please please help me?what is the VSS sensor and where can i find it??what are the other things i can do to get this light off while im on the motorway??cheers josh
