The Toffinator
Hi there all, im a bit confused to which coolant i need in my car, i have always been told at motorfactors to use blue at about 50/50 mix. and always have used this with no problems at all.But when looking on here people use red coolant? have i been making a big mistake? Thanks!
Sparky
Toyota coolant is pinky/red I believe doubt its any different to the blue stuff, if its always been fine on blue then why change
Dan507
It dosen't really matter which one you use, i have Red in mine. You cannot mix the two though
Giggz
I had blue in, but drained cooling system completely when switching to civic rad, now running on toyota red.

Lukew360
I think it's called "Four Life" and it's red.I think it's about £20 quid but it's good stuff, stops everything corroding ect to.
JAG
You cannot mix the two thoughHow come? Surely they do the same job but are just different colours?

garo
I was told only to use the Four life red stuff from toyota, apparently it is not alcohol based and better at reducing corrosion in the water ways! I got it from Toyota. Think it was around £20 for 5 litres.
ali_legend
Mines red too
