Caldina ST215 with tiptronic automatic transmissionAIM: Manual conversionQuestion: Whilst using the standard ecu, can it operate without it getting signals from the transmission. Is the automatic transmission control box connected to the ecu in any way. Are they completely seperate, or does the ecu pickup car speed and adjust the ecu parameters accordingly.Since the automatic transmission in the caldina is somewhat electronically sophisticated, i was wondering if a manual conversion would allow the ecu to operate as normal, you know what i mean.
