Help with choosing steering wheel boss kit

Recommended Posts

i have a 96plate starlet n/a cd model car, currently purchased a snap off kit, my car has an air bag fitted and need to know which boss kit to get in order to fit to the car and where to purchase it from. I will be looking to get either a sparco, omp or momo.

Right then i have a snoop on the net and have come across 2 boss kits,

heres the first one :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-MR2-Celica-Gl...=item415901c223

and the second one is also from ebay but also RHJ

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT

can some one confirm if they have tried either one, obviously the cheaper one will be a bonus :p

I have the first boss kit in my SR, horn didn't work and couldn't wire it in so ended up having a button for the horn :p

You could try it but dunno if it would work.. The second boss kit will defiantly work.

where did you have your horn fitted?

what problems did you face? was it the wiring? or no space for it?

In the blank cover near the rear fog light switch.. The problems were wiring up the horn. Its not easy but then again its not hard if you know what your doing :p
