DavidAshton
Ask for a pic from above, or from directly behind, trd unit is bent towards the driver.Thats stock in the pics as the rubber bushings are pressed into the base, trd unit has metal washers that go under the unit and are loose, no rubber bushings are pressed into the base at all. Raz
It saysExclamation Gear Shifter Comparison (Standard Vs TRD) Gear Shifter Comparison (Standard Vs TRD) Below are some detailed photos so that you can see the differences between the two units. It is evident that the following differs between the two: The lever itself (the metal rod) is shorter above the pivot point, and is bent in towards the driver The length of the rod below the pivot point is greater by 12mm on the TRD unit in comparison to the standard unit. You will notice that when placed on a level surface, the rod has a clearance (approx. 5mm) on the standard unit, however is touching the surface on the TRD unit. The return spring action mechanism differs slightly as illustrated in the photos. This is not due to it being a TRD unit, but rather the change they made between EP82 and EP91 gear shifter assemblies. Note that the brown looking unit is from an EP82 vehicle, and the white unit is TRD designed for the EP91. After personally comparing the differences between the standard EP82 and EP91 gear shifter assemblies I was not able to notice any real differences that would affect performance (the mouldings slightly differed but nothing that would impact drivability).http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904http://www.ep91.com/attachment.php?attachm...mp;d=1187144904if they don't work now, i cba.
