phone couldnt handle the engine sound lol so it cut out.

Some times when I start it in morning aswell it sounds like running on three cylinders them stops. It sure does drink oil. I'm on empty now but fed up of keep putting in!!

Think it is fair to say it is new engine timethat is quite bad, get the cheapest 20-50w you can get and make sure it never gets to empty, other wise say byebye bottom end!

The sad truth as well is that unless you can swap the engine yourself it might actually be cheaper to buy a new car lol

do a comp test if ya can, should make things a little clearer. but if it missfires then yea i would say rings too lol

If this happens only when cold, it's the stem seals.

If when hot, it's the rings.

I say, let it warm up, open the bonnet, pull the oil indicator out and rev the engine. If smoke pops out of the dipstick tube, it's definitively the rings. To be sure you could measure the compression.

I lifted the oil stick and it puffed loads of smoke out of it. So now I'm sure it's the rings. Gr lump of shit. Don't want the car anymore!

do a compression test...

drop a cap full of oil down each cylindr and re test.. if it improoves its defo rings
