HI GUYS,

I have a 1.3 sporif that i am converting to a Glanza v Replica and i was wondering how hard it would be to add a turbo system or add a Glanza V engine into the car. Has anyone did this before and if you have please inform of kit needed as well as an approximate price. this would help me a lot people

thanks

Im doing a glanza replica but keeping the normal N/A engine in , you might aswell just buy a glanza mate because you will have to get rear brake conversion's the lot ;)

Glanza Engine loom,

Glanza Dash loom,

Glanza Dials,

Glanza Stalks,

Glanza ECU

(taken from amjad's post)

you wont need a rear brake conversion. just get some better brakes at the front to cope with the extra power

you dont have to get rear discs for the turbo conversion, they just look nicer. they do sweet naff all anyway as the bias is set mostly to the fronts, but for completeists sake u would want them.

have a look on my build thread or Joz's build thread as just two examples of turbo engine conversions into UK n/a's.

you'll see the parts that were required in there, bit of a lengthy list.

Phil.

just make sure you know everything you need and that you have it all. i done mine using a donor car and done it from start to finish in 3 days with 2 mates and its the first time i had done any mechanical work on a car lol so that should give ya some confidence.
