silentstu Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Hi everyone my names stuart I'm 28 and from westcliff on sea Essex. Have had a few Toyotas now but only just came across this site. I have had a mr2 na, mr2 turbo, supra mk3 turbo and now I just got myself a 96 paseo Si. Due to running cost ect had to go sensible for now!!Picked the car up last week one owner from new with full Toyota history body work a bit tatty but interior is mint and car is completey stock. Even the roof leather bag is in the original packaging and have the Toyota touch up paint too.Anyway that's me and my car lol so hi all will get some pics up soon. Quote

silentstu Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 Thanks mate ;)Just general searhing for paseo info and found that its the same as the starlet so looked for a starlet club and found this lol ;) Quote
Galliano Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Welcome Stu. 17s are overkill nowadays mate, even when lowered the Paseo will still look too high on them. Try a set of 15s with 50 profile tyres, lower, and it will look top marks! Quote
Guest Enzo Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 a disagree this looks lush on 17s whenver i get round to getting a seo it will look similar to that Quote
silentstu Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 thanks for welcomes guysbeen debating 15s or 17s lol Quote
Guest Enzo Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 for performance and handling 15s for looks and grip(with supporting mods) 17s Quote
Galliano Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 But that one has also had a modified bumper put on, it has been chopped and extended. It adds depth to a degree of looking good.. But with a standard bumper it won't look so good. Quote
Lewis_GTT Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Welcome dude.Im only round the corner. From Leigh-on-sea.Enjoy the site & happy posting ;) Quote
Rob Scott Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 i recon go for deep dish 15's, maybe some banded steelies, stretched tyres, some camber on the back, and slammed ive gone for 14's, big ass tyres, and jacked up Quote
silentstu Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 Thanks for the more welcomes quiet a few people in essex then ! Quote
steed Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 yep, i concur with 16s for the best compromise between handling and looks. they fill the arches nicely but don't turn the old girl into a boat. Quote
