Looking to get a new set of wheels very soon and would like 15x7 but just want to check that they will fit before i order a set. ThanksLiam
Josh@TunerLifestyle
pishh i have 15x8 on my v dosent it also depend on the offset aswell mate? my wheels on my gt are 16x7 et 40 no problems
Liam_D
Yeah dont want to go tooo stanced like 0 offset at it'll just ruin the handling. The ones im looking at are, 15x7'' 4x114mm ET40
Glanza_cl
wont have a problem mate.
Josh@TunerLifestyle
well youll need hubcentric spacer/ adapter from 4x100 to 4x114, as long as you dont go for a big widw spacer i think youll be okay if you have an et40 alloy with 20mm spacer it will be basicly et20so you might get slight rubbing if you havent had your arches rolled,
Glanza_cl
dont think you can get conversion spacers any smaller then 20mm so would start getting a little close under the arches. unless Liam made a typo and actually meant 4x100
Dean @RW-Developments
ruin the handling with 0 offset???? not at all liam mine handles so much better with the 0 offsets you would be very surprised the cars now about 4" wider than standardthink you can get 15mm hubcentric but no smaller as the shortened nuts need to be sunk into the spacer
jonnygt
ive got 15x7 on my rota grid v's mine are et20 on the back and et15 on the front as i at to put 5mm spacers on because the were touching the calipers lolthe size and offset you want should be spot on!!
Josh@TunerLifestyle
^^^^ when you sell your alloys .. dibs! ahaa i love themmm!

Liam_D
The specs i put up was the ones off Rotas site, but im assuming there just on there for prices reasons. Im sure if i state Glanza when ordering then they will be the right offset. What is the correct ET for Glanzas?
Dean @RW-Developments
et 37 i think but safe is between 35 and 40 but as you can see going way lower can be done
Sparky
7j will fit fine mate, et40 will rub the inner bays a bit but spacers would sort that out
jonnygt
et20 FTMFW!!!

Liam_D
What profile tyres where you guys with 15x7s? running. Really want 50s but got a feeling that it may rub?
iamlegend
195/50/15 spec 2s had to get the rear arches rolled smooth as nowfronts are just nippy but getting other fenders so that will solve that!what wheels you getting?
Sparky
I'd get 195/45, 50 profile looks to chunky on dished wheels
Glanza_cl
I run 195/50/15's but then again i have them stretched over an 8" rim so it might aswell be a 45 profile lol
Sparky
Exactly ^^^ on a 7j rim i'd go 45's
Liam_D
But they dont make the tyres i want in 45s Think im just going to run 50s to be honest.
BearFaceOfDoom
What tyres do you want? Is mine the only car that scrubs the arches with 195/50/15's unstretched? lol.
